Educating students in Sustainable Energy by Using Modern Information & Communication Technologies

Analytical design

Appropriate data are collected from the participating regions (Epirus, Dropull, Himara) and a coherent development plan of the Cooperation Network in the Greece-Albania Cross-Border Area is formed for the education and familiarization of students in sustainable energy.

Interactive Games

Methodical use of modern ICT technologies and development of interactive games and applications for students and young people in Greece and Albania.

Utilization of Measurement Data

The processed measurement data from the pilot projects in Dropull, Himara and Ioannina are integrated and connected to the Experiential Workshops created in the 3 cities.

Implemented Activities

The Activities are divided into 3 categories: educational games, in which students will be trained in modern sustainable energy technologies & ICT, cultural games in which students will become familiar with the cultural heritage

of the three participating cities and the cross-border area, and sports games in which students will compete in sports and online tournaments set up in the network

3Pilot - Demonstration Projects

Pilot Projects

Three pilot / analytical studies are carried out for the integration of RES / Energy Efficiency technologies in public building complexes and their surrounding open space in Ioannina, Himara and Dropull. Then, the small-scale investments will be implemented in three emblematic and high visibility building complexes.

The Communication Plan is developed which includes:Informative material (brochures, newsletters, etc.) in printed and / or electronic form for the dissemination of project results

  • Video for the presentation of the project interventions
  • 1 Press conference for the presentation of the results of the partners' activities to the public
  • Four workshops (2 in Ioannina, 1 in Himara, 1 in Dropull)
  • Evaluation of the Communication and Dissemination Initiatives
